Hard Rock Goes Limitless

On August 29th 2018 the AIC Group which runs the Hard Rock Resorts in Mexico and Dominican Republic as well as Eden Roc/Nobu Hotel in Miami announced they were eliminating their Resort credit in favor of the "Limitless" All Inclusive.

Whoa what does that mean? Lets take a step back and look at their old program.  When booking a trip to Hard Rock Punta Cana you received a resort credit that was eligible to be used for things such as the Spa, Golf, and certain excursions. The price of the service was deducted from your resort credit. You paid a nominal 20% service fee. Sounds fair right? I sure think so.

Fast forward to 2018 and the AIC/Hard Rock Brand is taking it a step further. There is NO set resort credit amount. It truly is LIMITLESS!!

What does that mean now and what are the changes?

Beginning September 15th, 2018 through December 20th, 2019 there is NO set amount of resort credit. You can use $1800 or $3600, there is no limit. There will be a 25% service fee applied to all services.

So if you book a $500 spa package on a cloudy day, you are paying $125 of a service fee.
Play a round of golf for $100 and your paying $25.
Go to Hard Rock and use none of these services and pay NOTHING! I had clients inquire what the catch is, and there is none. Its a great deal for those who will utilize it and for those that won't, nothing changes.

I spent today looking at the average spa packages in the Caribbean and could not find anything appealing for less than $400. This really seems like a good thing.
